Totally recommend for a cursory stop

Clean room, friendly staff, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to the day, especially with the indoor pool providing a nice place to relax after a long drive.

Shower pressure was inconsistent.

How it stacks up, my honest take

The room was decent but had notable issues. the door lock was faulty and housekeepers were not effective. Guests in the hallways were loud, making it hard to relax. Staff seemed indifferent. Strict policies with deposits can lead to unexpected charges, which could discourage future visits. Not worth the cost, in my opinion.

It was just a top selection for a quick layover in Norfolk with value for price. The breakfast area had a nice selection, which made mornings easier. Check the parking situation before arriving. it can get a bit tight.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it was conveniently close to the Virginia Aquarium, which made for a fun family day out. The staff was accommodating, allowing our service dog to accompany us without any hassles. The pool was a big hit with the kids.

My kids wished the elevator worked better. it was out of order at the time of our stay. It made carrying our luggage quite a chore, especially with all the kids in tow.

The breakfast was a delight with freshly made eggs! 🥚 My only downside was the noise from the adjoining rooms, making it hard to sleep. Overall, a pleasant stay, but improvements are needed in soundproofing.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, making it a pleasant place to sleep. However, the gym equipment was broken during my stay, which was disappointing since I had hoped to work out. The hallway carpets had some stains, and the cleanliness of certain areas could be improved. On top of that, the staff's communication could be better. I encountered some rude behavior that left a bad impression. Unfortunately, I also noticed poor security during a noisy incident late at night. Overall, my experience felt inconsistent, and while there were enjoyable aspects, the need for improvements is evident.

our stay at sleep inn was great! the king room with a roll-in shower was super clean and comfy. the staff was really courteous and made us feel welcome. it’s in a nice area, close to shopping and attractions, which was perfect for our vacation. we didn't get to enjoy breakfast because we had to leave early, but we appreciate the reasonable price for such a nice stay.

Family's Avoid at All Costs

The location was excellent! Lots of places to eat nearby, but tough to enjoy when you're worried about a stinky room.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We enjoyed visiting the nearby Virginia Aquarium and Ocean Breeze Waterpark, both just a short drive away. The hotel provided a comfortable stay and a decent breakfast. We also appreciated the friendly staff, who were super helpful. Just be aware that the breakfast area can feel a bit cramped. Overall, a solid spot for a group getaway!

We had a pleasant time here! The area is super convenient with lots of food spots nearby. Our room was comfy, though we noticed some noise from the hall at times. The breakfast setup was nice and the outdoor patio had some tables for chilling. Just wish the carpets in the hallways were cleaner!
